Performance Evaluation I

Students will complete a Performance Evaluation in groups of two.

For Performance Evaluation 1, students will set up a basic live sound system using an analog mixing console, speakers, stage monitors, and the associated cables. Students will be responsible for connecting a microphone, routing the signal to the main loudspeakers, and creating a stage monitor mix.

Students will have 30 minutes to complete the performance evaluation.

Students will be required to:

1. Connect the microphone, Mackie mixer, and speakers
2. Route the microphone signal to the main speakers
3. Route the microphone signal to the stage monitor
4. Strike the system and properly wrap all cables
